The Via Chiantiggiana SR222 crosses Chianti from Florence to Siena, passing through Greve in Chianti. The SP3 which connects Florence to Greve in Chianti is also perfect for cycling.

What to see

There are so many things to see in Chianti but we suggest you visit the centre of Greve in Chianti with its beautiful square and its nearby Montefioralle with its castle and then continue to Castellina in Chianti, passing by Panzano to make a stop at the famous Butcher Dario Cecchini to taste his world famous Florentine steak.

You cant help but taste a great wine in one of the many farms you will meet along the road, savoring the many delicacies of Chianti cuisine.
